Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups, or SIGs, are small groups of OCC members who share a common photography interest and want to explore it in more depth.
SIGs are proposed, organized, and led by club members. Members can sign up when a group launches and work together to learn, share ideas, build skills, and create projects around a shared subject.
For information about the SIGs, contact the group leader.
How SIGs Work
- SIGs are proposed by club members based on shared interests.
- Members sign up when a group launches.
- Each group sets its own schedule, goals, and meeting format.
- Groups decide how long they will run and what they want to produce or learn.
- Some groups may run for the full season, while others may be shorter.
Funding and Club Support
SIGs are self-funded. Each group decides whether any costs are involved, such as materials, outings, workshops, or learning resources.
The club may support SIGs through meeting space arrangements or other administrative help when available.
