Please be advised that participation in The Oshawa Camera Club and all club activity is strictly voluntary; and, as a participant, you agree to assume all risk of personal injury or damage to personal property while taking part in these activities or any activities organized by persons acting on behalf of the Oshawa Camera Club. Legally this statement implies that as a participant, you, your heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors, waive any and all claims you may have now and in the future against the Oshawa Camera Club and release from all liability its executive, directors, volunteers, agents and representatives ( collectively its “staff” ), for any personal injury, including death, property damages, all expenses, including medical expenses, or loss sustained as a result of your participation in club activities, due to any cause whatsoever, including, without limitation, negligence, or duties of the “staff”. By signing below, you acknowledge and accept personal responsibility for liability as noted in this waiver. Images, Prints & Photo essays submitted to the Club gives the Club express approval for publication, presentation and/or use in promotional material.

Please note that regular participation in Club activities is required – with a minimum of having attended 3 regular meetings. In addition, the Executive reserves the right, unless there are special circumstances, to revoke the Membership to anyone who has not attended a meeting up until December of the current season. In such case the membership fee is not refundable.

Limitation of Liability

Oshawa Camera Club shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Oshawa Camera Club has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a Oshawa Camera Club product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Oshawa Camera Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Oshawa Camera Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Oshawa Camera Club shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Term; Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Oshawa Camera Club without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
