OCC Members External Competitions
In each club year, the OCC is typically involved in other sanctioned competitions either locally, nationally or internationally. The OCC will notify you of these competitions and will usually cover the entry fees unless stated otherwise.
Note: The rules stipulated for OCC Competition and the ACC may not be the same as those for other competitions. It is your responsibility to know and abide by the rules of the conducting organization. We will make every effort to inform you of these rules.

2025 OCCC (O3C) Open Challenge
The OCCC holds an Annual Interclub Competition that is open to participation by all member clubs. OCC members are encouraged to submit entries to this competition. An image submitted to an OCC Competition or ACC can be entered into the OCCC competition. Your OCCC representative will outline rules, regulations, categories and procedures prior to the entry submission date. There is a submission fee per entry, which the OCC has payed for in the past for all regular members participating in this competition. Visit their website for details and past results. www.O3C.ca
This year’s Interclub competition is similar to last year but you should familiarize yourself with the Rules and Guidelines before submitting any entry.
There are 11 categories in total. You may submit up to a maximum of 12 entries in any category.
Those aiming for the Photographer of the Year, one image in the themed category and at least 1 image in each of the any other 10 digital categories.
To be eligible for the Specialist Awards, you will need a minimum of 6 entries in any one digital category.
This year’s theme topic is “CANADIANA“

Digital File Submission Deadline for OCC Members is April 16, 2025. 6:00pm
$2/entry will be collected from you at a later date. Do not send files or money directly to the O3C.

NOTE: You will have to resize your images to within the 1920 Wide x 1080 High dimension. 500pixel minimum on the shortest dimension.
